This morning I stood face to face with my ego. Ego was not letting down at all. It was loud, obnoxious, and mean. All these were feeding Ego, making her grow. It’s not a coincidence that God told me to start focusing on HUMILITY this past week. As my ego got stronger and much louder, God’s sweet whisper said to me “You know the ego is not going to win, right?” And He continued by showing me a visual of a boxing ring. Humility was patiently waiting for Ego to come down the aisle and into the ring. Ego never made it to the ring because her head had become so swollen, so big, and was beat before it had a chance to fight! To be competitive, to be given a chance to win, we have to have HUMILITY. Then another visual came of Ego. This time Ego was sitting down and learning from Coach Humility. I need to take some time to be coached by Humility…I like to win! Don’t you?
